Worcester Massachusetts Mechanics Hall Spring 2015

This recent custom project was to install new under balcony side stage curtains within this historic turn of the century music venue’s “Great Hall”.
Theatrix designed a custom curved track with magnetic retaining stops to facilitate unattended conductor/performer entrance  on either side.
The existing original track was used to mount valance and stationary curtain so as to preserve the original  balcony curved edge detail and a new curved track was installed behind for the travelling section.
Custom IFR velour curtains were fabricated to allow for the curved floor to balcony interface.
